Join herbalist Emily Pearson Ryan and printmaking instructor Jessie Merriam to learn about the lore and uses of yarrow, and carve a 4x6 woodblock of your own. A template will be provided for the block, so this class is beginner friendly.

Yarrow is a plant of protection, a warrior plant with long-established use throughout the Northern hemisphere, a fabulous plant ally for first aid! There will be an opportunity to sample different yarrow preparations, and Emily will also have some herbal remedies for sale at the end of class.

Ink and paper provided, bring your own fabric if you are interested in printing a patch or printing onto clothing (with fabric ink).

The class is 3 hours and 15 minutes long to allow for a short break. Students are welcome to arrive 5 minutes early to settle in.
