Join us to complete Fireweed's backyard sheds!
We will be adding the siding, roofing, and building a door (with the possibility of other small shed projects added) on our 6' x 8' shed. Expect to work on uneven terrain, climb ladders and use power tools (circular saw, cordless drills) as well as work with metal (bring gloves if you have them) and wood. We'll use measuring tapes, chalk lines, drills, snips and we may get out the framing .nailer
A couple safety items to follow if you participate in the build:
Wear closed toe shoes (no exceptions and no crocs). Tennis shoes are acceptable, work boots are better. Also, wear long pants (jeans are good) or, if wearing a skirt, make sure it is long and something that you can move in but is not loose or flowing. Wear short or long sleeved t-shirts (no tank tops). No dangling jewelry or strings (on a hoodie, for example) on your person, and long hair needs to be tied back.
This event will take place outdoors which means, if it is pouring rain or there's any sign of thunder or lightning, we will cancel.
