This adjustable display wall is made with pegs, shelves, and boxes to create a stylish space to show off your treasures! Have in mind what you want to store on the wall because students will be able to design the shelves and boxes to fit their needs. Students will learn how to make dado and rabbet joinery using the table saw to create the shelves and boxes. The peg board and accessories will be made out of 1/2" paint grade plywood. Plan to apply finish or paint at home. You will be provided with a 2-foot by 3-foot shop-made peg board with 1/2" peg holes. You will be able to choose the depth of the shelves and boxes with a maximum depth of 5 inches. A shelf or box will have a maximum weight capacity of 10 pounds. This class is open to students of all levels of ability, and I will make accommodations for anyone with a disability.
The materials fee for this class is $60 and is included in the admission cost.
