Learn the ins and outs of the bandsaw in this skills-building course! In the first half of the class, we will learn how to properly set up the bandsaw by changing a blade. In the process, we will cover tensioning, tracking, and proper bearing and guide set up. Then, we will walk through some of the bandsaw's most popular uses, including using a fenced and cutting curves. In the second half of the class, students will be provided with wood to explore using the bandsaw hands-on to practice making shapes and angles.

The materials fee is $10 and is included in the admission cost.

* If you require an accommodation to take this class, please indicate so in the registration form. Read about our accommodations policy here. *
