DONATE We depend on donations from individuals to support classes, purchase tools, host community events and more. With your donations, we’ve been able to: Offer sliding scale pricing, BIPOC Seats, make workbenches, fund our assistantship program and more! We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit — your contribution is tax deductible! Click the donate button to make a tax deductible donation today. Many companies offer programs that match charitable contributions from their employees. Check with your company HR to find out if your company offers matching. |
Maximize your impact with a monthly donation Join our community of monthly donors who are helping us empower women and nonbinary folks through the art of woodcraft. Why donate monthly? It’s impactful: You’ll support education programs that provide safe and supportive learning environments for 1600 students annually. It’s sustainable: Monthly gifts provide predictable income, which in turn helps us to plan for the future. It’s easy: Your support is always current through convenient, automatic monthly payments from your bank account or credit/debit card. |
VolunteerThere are a lot of different ways to get involved with Fireweed and volunteering is one of them. Volunteers often help with events, shop upkeep, serve as class assistants, and contribute to community projects. Contact us if you’d like to volunteer. |
Fireweed Board and CommitteesGetting involved on the board or a committee is a great way to help steer the path of Fireweed Community Woodshop. Our committee and board members support the organization’s financial and fundraising goals, our equity and diversity mission, and educational development. Board meetings and committees are open to the community and we welcome people of diverse backgrounds and experiences. We want a variety of opinions! |
